He was married to Dorothy Longmire Taylor for 53 years. To this union came 5 children: Gerald (Gloria), Deborah (Wil- liam), Adrienne (Cart-deceased). Barney III (Shelean). and Christopher (Stephanie); grandchildren, Shanta, Shanda, Christopher, William, Brittany, Alissa, Christopher, Roby; great-grandchildren, Ava, Aden, Ameri. and Raquel Taylor; sisters, Betty, Johana, and Dorothy Taylor; brothers, Edward, James, King; and a host of other relatives and friends.
