Life's ReflectionsBarbara Ann Williams was born January 12, 1942 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the union ofJames and Ida Mae Williams. She was the sixth child of nine children born to this union. Both parents, two brothers, Charles and Robert, one sister, Marilyn; two sons, Herman and Tommy;and one daughter, Deborah preceded her in death.Barbara received her formal education in the State of Louisiana.On July 12, 1962, Barbara was united in Holy matrimony to Wilbur Leroy Hunter. To this unionwere six children. The family later moved to San Diego, California.In 1976, she attended Upjohn's medical Institute College of Careers where she received certification as a Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN). She was employed at Barton Memorial Community Hospital. Later shereceived a certificate of achievement in Child Care and Early Education C.A. and was employed with the Las Angeles, California Unified School District for over twenty years until her retirement.While visiting St. Louis, Missouri, Barbara Ann accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at San FranciscoTemple Complex under the pastorate of Bishop Dwight H. McDaniels, Jr. After returning to California, she was able to keep up with the Ministry through Elder Edward E. Harris and the San Francisco Temple Ministryunder the leadership of Bishop Luther J. Blackwell.Barbara Ann possessed a love for life and was able to bring a smile to all who met her. She loved God, herfamily and friends.She departed this life from the Golden Living Retirement Center in Bakersfield, California.She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Hedrick Lloyd Williams, three daughters, Eddievinnie Williams ofLos Angeles, California, Sonya Harris of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri and Evangelist Sharon Harris of Columbus,Ohio; four brothers, James, Joseph, Tabby and Danny Floyd Williams; one sister Rose Mae Williams; two sons-in-law, Elder Edward Harris, Sr. of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri and Pastor Harry Harris, Sr. of Hope Alive Ministry ofColumbus, Ohio; Eleven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and two great-great grandchildren and a host ofnieces, and nephews and cousins, church family and friends.Interment:Lake Charles Park Cemetery7775 St. Charles Rock RoadSt. Louis, MO 63114 .
