Arthur Lorell Clair, Sr.

Life Reflections Arthur Lorell Clair Sr. was born on December 16, 1941 to proud parents Ervin Jerome Clair and Alfreida Elizabeth Alexander Clair. When his mother passed he was raised by Hattie Clair. Arthur was baptized at an early age by Rev. William Thompson at First Baptist Church of Creve Coeur. Arthur married Georgetta Ball on August 16, 1964. To this union was born four children. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Ervin Jr., Arnold Sr., and Robert Sr.; Sister: Thelma (Peaches}Motten; a grandson, Marlo Clair; and his wife, Georgetta. Arthur was educated in the Maryland Heights School District. He worked at E&H Hauling Company and Superior Hauling for more than 30 years. Arthur spent the last 2 years at NHC Healthcare in Maryland Heights where he was cared for as an Alzheimer patient. Arthur Lorell Clair Sr. passed on to glory Tuesday, June 19, 2012. He will be remembered lovingly by his children: Maxcine Clair- Thompson, Alfreida (Richard}Bramlett, Arletha Lewis, LaCreashia Clair, and Arthur Clair Jr. His remaining siblings: Eunice Jackson, Lucy (Roy) Woodson, Donald (Johnnie) Clair, Katie (Byron) Cole, and Keith Clair will cherish a lifetime of memories. Arthur also has 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends that will remember him in a very special way.
