Life Reflections Andrew Robinson, Jr. was born on March 7, 1949 to the union of Andrew, Sr. and Alice Taylor Robinson in Detroit Michigan. To this union three children were born. His father. mother and elder brother. Marvin, preceded him from this life. The family relocated to Saint Louis, Missouri in 1955 where his loving Aunt Ida helped to rear the children. He attended Benton Elementary School and Beaumont High School. When he finished school he worked several job positions including salesandasanattendantatH.G.PhillipsHospital. Hejoined the St. Louis Fire Department and later worked at Frank C. Meyer Manufacturing, Inc. Andrew was united in holy matrimony to Sharon Waters and one son was born to this union. He later met and married the "love of his life", Wilma who blessed him with two sons. "Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, ...Happy is the man that has his quiver full of (children) them". Psalm 127:3-5 Heconfessedhis hope in JesusChristat an earlyageand later rededicatedhislifetotheLord. HeservedinGod's"Vineyard"for many years as a deacon, janitor, usher, and choir member. He especiallylovedtosingandgivepraiseuntotheLord. Itwasnot unfamiliar to hearthe sound of hisfoot-stompingandshouting unto God. His favorite songs were Steal Away To Jesus, Safe in His Arms, and 0' Happy Day. He loved to travel. Left to cherish Andrew's memory are: his loving and devoted wife, Wilma; three sons, Aaron, Andrew Alexander. and Derrick; and five grandchildren. Andrew will be missed dearly by his only sister. Yvonne; one niece and four nephews; two aunts, Rosilia and Louise (Robert); four sisters-in-law, seven brothers-in-law, and a host of cousins.
