John 14:2ObituaryOn the morning of Friday, January 9, 2015, God felt the need to pluck another flower from hisgarden. He called home Elder Anderson Kimble, Jr.Elder Anderson Kimble, Jr., was born on February 15, 1931 in Nashville, TN. He was the oldestson of the late Andeson Kimble, Sr., and Katherine Kimble Rose.At an early age, Anderson professed his love of Christ. He was called in the ministry in 1978 atNew Covenant Pentecostal Church, where he served for many years.He was educated in Tennessee Public School System. The most important degree he obtainedwas was his B.A. "Born Again in Christ." He was employed by Kirkwood Public Schools until his retirement in 2004.He was a loving son, father, grandfather and devoted husband. His life was fueled by the loveof God, and his sense of humor. He is survived by a devoted and loving wife, of 36 years, Henrietta Kimble; one daughter Katherine Kimble Brantley (Bernard) Brooklyn, Michigan; two sons; Lawrence Kimble (Shelia) Cape Coral, Florida, and Michael Kimble (JoAnne) New Canton, Virginia;three stepsons Alfred Jackson, Jr., Joel Jackson and Elestla Tatum; Four stepdaughters, Patricia Ward,Joyce Coleman, Valerie Jones, Edythe Richey, grandsons Eric, Emile Josiah and Wesley; granddaughters Tracy, Monica, Kristin and Kristina, a host of great-grandchildren, a brother James Kimble (Sandra) andtwo sister-in-laws, Carole Kimble, Betty Phillips and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.Elder Anderson was also preceded in death by a brother Rudolph Kimble and a sister Norma Jean Phillips.We Hold You CloseWe hold you close with our hearts,And there you shall remain,To walk with us throughout our livesUntil we meet again.So rest in peace Dad,And thanks for all you have done,We pray that God has given youThe crown you have truly won.Interment:St. Peters Cemetery2101 Lucas Hunt RoadSt. Louis, MO 63121 .
