LIFE REFLECTIONS Almer Edwards was born July 24, 1937. He was the first born to the late Minnie and Eddie Edwards in Benoit, MS He attended school in Rosedale, MS.and was baptized at a early age. One brother Jack Edwards, one sister Sara Mae Taylor, five uncles"three aunts and his mother -in-law Caroline Newsom-Hillard preceeded him in death. He married Dorothy Newsom on June 28, 1979. They were married for 31 wonderful years. He was an employee at Scullin Steel and retired from Super Value. He was a hard ambitious worker, a loving husband, a loyal family member and friend to all who knew him. Almerwas known as Honey, Uncle Honey, Edwards, Uncle Ed's and Uncle Edw~rds. He was like a father to five of his nieces and he loved his dog Topaz. He loves to listen to his music. He loves sports especially football and wrestling was his favorite. He loves to play dominoes. He loves his sweets especially at midnight and watching western movies. He leaves to cherish his memories his lovely wife Dorothy-Edwards, five brothers Freddie Edwards, L. A. Edwards of St. Louis, MO. Roy Lee Edwards of West Virginia, Johnny Edwards of Chicago, IL, Eddie Edwards of Hayti, MO. Four sister Brenda Ruff of Hayti, MO, Jewel Sanders, Pearlene (Ulysses) Thomas and Maryann all of Rosedale, MS. Two brother-in-Iaws Melvin Newsom, Robert (Judy) Newsom, and another sister-in-law Ernestine Newson.
