Obituary for Allan Anthony Killion, Sr. May 28, 1952 - December 4, 2009 A Time To Be Born: Allan Anthony Killion, Sr. was born on May 28th, 1952 in Highland, Illinois to the union of Charles Ellis Killion and Geraldine Marion Mitchell Killion who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Russell Killion, Sr. and Jesse Rhenard Killion; one grandson, Emmanuel De'Chae Killion and niece, Sarah Hope Miller. A Time To Achieve: Allan, affectionately called "Tony" was a master mechanic at building "Hot Rods" in his neighborhood of Richmond Heights, MO and in the United States Army. He later went on to earn his certification at Ranken Technical Institute. A Time To Serve: Allan served four years in the United States Armed Forces. A Time to Depart: Allan departed this life on December 4th, 2009 at 12: 18 a.m. at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He leaves to mourn his passing: a special senior cousin, Mrs. Anita Banks of Alton, Illinois; five sisters, Adrienne I. Gray and Carletta R. Nelson of St. Louis, Missouri, Diavonnia L. Shirley of Buckeye, Arizona, Carol Tate of Louisville, Kentucky, Valarie Ware (Anthony Ware) of Atlanta, Georgia; adopted sistec Kathy Nunley of St. Louis, Missouri; and Vien Ut Killion (sister-in-law); three brothers, Stephan D. Ford (Margaret Ford) of Mesa, Arizona, Aaron R. Ford (Arlene Ford) of St. Louis, Missouri, Edward Anderson of Waterloo, Iowa; six children, Charron, Allan Jr., Alicia, Larry, Jamilla, and Earl; ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends. A precious one from us has gone. A voice we love is stilled, A place is vacant in our hearts which never can be filled. And after a lonely heartache and many a silent tear, but always a beautiful memory of one we love so dear. Cremation: Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery Saint Louis, Missouri .
