Alice Pearl Williams

Life Reflections Alice Pearl was born on October 5, 1949 to Ejewell Jones and Tommie Lee Davidson in St. Louis, Missouri. Alice was the fourth oldest of seven children. Both parents and two siblings, Ruth Lee and Joe Davidson preceded her in death. Alice grew up in Robertson, Missouri. She attended the Berkeley school district where she graduated in 1967. Alice was faithfully employed with Bristol Myers Corporation for over 20 years where she eventually retired. It was also at Bristol Myers she met her husband William Lee Williams who she was faithfully married to until his death on January 23, 2001. To this union, one beautiful daughter was born, Danielle Dcnise Williams. Anyone who knew Alice Pearl knew that the true love of her life were her grandchildren, Odyssey, Carl III, and Natalie. Alice was also known for her love of cooking and baking. She was most famous for her homemade pound cakes and sweet potato pies. Alice enjoyed travel- ing and loved listening to music. Having such a warm personality, wherever she went, Alice met no strangers. Alice confessed a hope in Christ and was baptized at an early age at First Missionary Baptist Church of Robertson, MO under the leadership of the late Reverend Robert Johnson, Sr. Her faith in God remained strong and never wavered until He called her home. On March 5th, 2019 at 5:11 pan, Alice peacefully departed this life surrounded by her family and loved ones. Alice leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Danielle (Carl) Jackson; 3 grandchildren, Odyssey, Carl III and Natalie Jackson; 3 sisters, Betty Jean (Neumon) Stroter, Geneva (Rick) Vogel and Norma Davidson; 1 brother, Kenneth Davidson; 2 sisters-in-law, Sharon Davidson and Ethel Williams; a play- brother, Joe Swims and goddaughter, Elnora Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
