Alice V. Works was born May 2, 1929 to the late Henry and Margret (Maggie) Frazier in Chesterfield, Missouri. Alice attended Orrville Elementary in Chesterfield and graduated from Douglass High School in Webster Groves, MO. As a young girt Alice received Christ and was baptized at Union Baptist Church and later joined Old Community Baptist Church. On February 10,1952, Alice wasjoined in holy matrimony to George Works her best friend and love of her life. From this union came one daughter and two sons. Alice was a very loving and caring person. She loved her family and adored all of her grandkids. She was a great cook and enjoyed doing it and you would be amazed at what she could do with some construction paper and glue. She had a very creative mind. Alice leaves to reflect and treasure her life: her husband, George A. Works; her children, Gale Wilson, George Works and Peter Works; one sister, Marie Thompson; 10 grand- kids, four great-grandkids, 1 great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
