Life Reflections Alfred Martin was born August 12, 1947 to the union of George Martin and Sallie Davis in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from Wellston High School in Wellston, Missouri in 1964. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge. After his return home Mr. Alfred Martin, married Ms. Deborah Williams on August 29, 1981. Al received Christ at an early age and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He had a long and distinguishing career as a civil servant for the Public Works Department in the City of Wellston. tie retired from the Public Works Department in the City of Crestwood. "AI" was known for helping the local citizens and always talking with people everywhere he went. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sallie Martin and father, George Martin, brothers, Robert, Allen, Melvin George and Drock Martin. Al leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Deborah Williams Martin; daughter, Leslie Williams; sons, Randy Willis, Jaracz, and Brian Martin; daughter-in-law, Jodie Willis; six grandchildren, Anthony, Gowdy, Antewon, Cannaday, Elijah Willis, Randi Willis, Brandon Willis and Jaracz Martin, Jr.; one sister, Delores Ridgell, all of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Curtis Martin of Seaside, CA; sister-in-law, Ilse Martin; one aunt, Vassie Nall of St. Louis, MO; one uncle Emmett Davis of Las Vegas, NV; one brother-in-law, Bruce Williams; sister-in-law, Rosalind Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Internment: Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery Saint Louis, Missouri .
