Adele Nall Lee

Adele Nall was born on January 5, 1932 to the union of Harry Nall, Sr. and Adele Howard in St. Louis, Missouri. Adele was the youngest of six children. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her siblings, Harry Nall. Jr., Myra Nall, Juanita Lyons, Ruth James, and Susie Nall, her son, Keith, Sr., her great grandson, Amir, and her husband Alfred. Adele attended Simmons Elementary and graduated on June 15, 1945. She graduated from Charles Sumner High School on January 27, 1950. After high school Adele attended the Department of Education Vocational Division for Practical Nursing (Sponsored by St. Louis Council on Community Nursing). She received her Practical Nursing License on June 30, 1955. After nursing school, Adele started her career at Homer G. Philips Hospital. Adele also worked at City Hospita where she later met Alfred and ended her career as a private duty nurse for several prominent families in St. Louis. Adele accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at a young age. Throughout her life she was obedient to the call of God and served her family and others with joy. She attended Bethel Lutheran Church fo ove 47 years. September 14, 1957, Adele was united in Holy Matrimony to Alfred Lee. To this union four choldren were born and through an earlier union her eldest daughter, Linda Bowen was born. with several of her classmates and formed a loving group of friends referred to as the "Golden Girls". They would get together monthly for fellowship and fun. The Golden Girls included: Bonnie Johnson, Rose culley, Francine Lane, Juanita Cashmere, Pearl Bower, Clarise Smith, Juanita Davis, Rose Binion, Clemitine Scott, Ernestine Hendricks and Betrice Gates.
