Life ReflectionRobert Lee Carr, Jr. was born on January 12, 1936 to the late Robert. and Ruther Lee Bearden-Carr. He confessed a hope in Christ in 1948 at the Loggy Bayou Church and was baptized in Bayou Bartholomew in Tillar, Arkansas. As a youth, he sang in various male choirs. In 1955, Robert and Myrtle C. Tucker were married and to this union two children were born. In August 1962, Robert moved to St. Louis, MO and worked as an environmental Specialist for over 40 years. In 1969, he married Betty Jean Williams-Can- who preceded him in death. Robert leaves to cherish his memories, Earlean Hopson, a companion and a very dedicated and faithful caregiver, five daughters, Patricia Lewis of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Laura Horton of McGehee, Arkansas, Melanie Carr-Rawls (Perry) of Monticello, Arkansas, Wilma Turner of Bakersfield, California, and Debra Easley of St. Louis, Missouri. The only son, Robert Anthony Carr (Theresa) of Warren, Arkansas, three sisters, Pearlie Bass (James) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Willie Mae Hewing (Theodore) of Reed, Arkansas, and Carolyne Adkins (John) of Little Rock, Arkansas, two brothers, Charles Frazier (Roselle) of Chicago, Illinois, and Jimmie Carr of Rock Island, Illinois, 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
