Life ReflectionsMae Willie Dixson was born August 15, 1946 in Jackson, Tennessee to Lee Arthur and Mattie Dixson. She was the sixth of eight children. Her family relocated to Kinloch, Missouri in 1956 when Mae was ten years old. She was educated in the Kinloch Public School System. She graduated in 1966 from Kinloch High School. Mae completed her education at the Florissant-Valley Community College with an Associate Degree in Early Child Development. Mae confessed a hope in Christ. As a youth she attended True Light Baptist Church and later attended Restoration Temple C.O.G.I.C. She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. James E. Scott on August 15, 1991. No children were born to this union. Mae was a proud mother of seven children. Mae loved her family; she always spoke highly of her children and grandchildren's accomplish-ments. Mae valued education and would encourage her children and grandchildren to go further with their education. Some of her favorite pastimes were going to bingo with her daughters, teaching her grandchildren songs to sing, and talking to her family and friends on the telephone. Mae departed this life at her home on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Her father, mother, husband and two brothers ,preceded her in death. Mae leaves to cherish her loving memories: five daughters Marcia Parker, Madelyn Bryant-Starks, Maria Manning, Miranda Bryant, and Miriam Conner; two sons Michael Bryant, Sr. and Marvin Bryant, Sr.; twenty-seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; five sisters; one brother-in-raw; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
