Life ReflectionsMrs. Lillian Jefferson Joiner was born January 28, 1934 in Jackson, Mississippi. Lillian was the seventh child of thirteen children of Allen Haney and Mary Josephine Haney. Lillian grew up in the city of Jackson, Mississippi where she was educated in the public school system. Lillian attended New Jerusalem C.O.G.I.C. where she enjoyed being chairperson of the Nospitality Committee until her husband, James Edward Joiner passed and her health began to fail. Lillian later became a member of Jehovah Witness. Lillian was married to Nathaniel Lee Jefferson and later to James (Poppa) Edward Joiner. Lillian enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lillian loved garage-sales, shopping and bowling, both she would do in the spur of the moment. Lillian departed this life on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the age of seventy-five at DePaul Nospital. There are no words to express how much she will be missed. Lillian is survived by: her beloved sons, Roger Lee, Donald (Sharon), and Keith (Gloria); 7 grandchildren, Marcia (George), Robert (Letha), David (Marlene), Miracle, MichaeL Karina (Cedric) and Corrinda; 13 great-grandchildren, Antonio, Denay, Ezra, 'Michael-David, Micah, Leah, Devin, Sharonde', Destiney, Jasiel Selwyn, Deondrae, and Malachi; a host of other relatives and friends.Disposition:CremationSaint Louis Cremation .
