Billy Joe Taylor, Jr.

Life Reflection

Billy Joe Taylor was born on January 15, 1952 in St. Louis, MO to Yvonne Taylor and Billy Joe Taylor, Sr. He attended the St. Louis Public Schools. Soon after he joined the United States Army USAR and served many years until retirement from Veteran Affairs.

He married Angela Taylor and to this union he parented 5 children. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. In prime days he was a life of the party. He enjoyed spending time with family and loved them deeply. He could dress for any occasion.

He later married Linda D. Taylor and spent the remainder of his loving years with her until his departure. Billy departed this life on July 19, 2024.

He was preceded in death by: his daughter, Contonya Taylor, mother, father, grandparents and siblings.

He leaves to cherish loving memories: wife, Linda Taylor; his children, Kenya Butler, Joseph Taylor, Marlena Webster (Andre Webster, Sr.), Billy Joe Taylor, Jr. and Sheila Davis; 22 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 6 siblings, aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He will indeed be missed
